The primary goal of the Foundation is supporting the activities of the academic community and organizational units of the University of Warsaw, including: scientific research, publishing endeavors, development of the University’s resources, scientific cooperation and organization of conferences, cultural activity. This goal is pursued especially through financial and organizational support provided by the Foundation to the best projects, which are selected by way of competition.
Renovation of a fountain at the UW Botanic Garden
The University of Warsaw Foundation has for years supported renovations of the University’s monuments. In 2016, the Foundation co-financed the renovation of a historic fountain at the UW Botanic Garden located at Aleje Ujazdowskie in Warsaw.

"Bach 200 UW" concert series
Inaugurated in 2011, the concert series called "BACH 200UW – 200 Bach Cantatas for the University of Warsaw's 200th Anniversary” has been continued to celebrate the bicentennial celebrations of the establishment of the University of Warsaw. Obserwatorium Językowe UW website
The University of Warsaw Foundation co-financed the project of an academic website Obserwatorium Językowe Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego (Language Observatory of the University of Warsaw), editted by M. Bańko, M. Czeszewski, J. Burzyński (www.nowewyrazy.uw.edu.pl). The website was launched on March 26th, 2014. It has been co-financed by the National Center for Culture as a part of its socio-educational campaign "Ojczysty – dodaj do ulubionych" ("Native tongue – add to favorites").
"Floratheca" of the UW Botanic Garden
The University of Warsaw Foundation in cooperation with the National Audiovisual Institute co-financed the project "Botanical Archives”. The project encompassed a digitalization of the UW Botanic Garden historical collections of botanic engravings from the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century. The collections are available at the FLORATHECA website.
