The conference program featured presentations of over 30 leading specialists on Palmyrene studies. “Life in Palmyra, life for Palmyra” took place on April 21st and on 22nd, 2017 at The University of Warsaw. The participating scholars represented various international archaeological expeditions working in Palmyra, including the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology, as well as Syrian archaeological teams specialized in this field.
The conference was co-organized by the Institute of Archaeology and the Zygmunt Zaleski Foundation in cooperation with the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology.
